Who is responsible
SHEMMAN is responsible for the personal data collected on shemman.com. For any question about your data, write to info@shemman.com and we answer within 30 days.
What we collect
- Waitlist: email address, the model you are interested in, where you would use it, an optional business name, language and country preference.
- Warranty registration: serial number, purchase date, name and email address.
- Country suggestion: when you first open the site, your IP address is used once to look up your country (through the country.is service), so that we can suggest your language. Only the country code is kept, in your browser.
- Colour vote: your choice and a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent repeat voting.
Why
To send you launch news and offers you asked for (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to manage your warranty (contract, Art. 6(1)(b)) and to keep the vote fair (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long
Waitlist data until you unsubscribe, and at the latest 24 months after the product launch. Warranty data for the 10-year warranty period plus 2 years, so that late claims can still be handled. Colour votes until the colour decision is made.
Where it is stored
On our web host's servers in the European Union. We do not sell or share your data. If we start using an email service to send news, it will be listed here as a processor.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data and withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@shemman.com. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies
This site stores your language and country choice in your browser. It uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
